12 oz. can from Trader Joes; Louisville. Has a rich golden color with a rocky head that settles into a bubbly, patchy skin. Aroma is deceptively complex; honey - lemon lozenge with the floral, spicy hop character you expect from Saaz. Flavor brings even more malt character; honey lemon meets sugar cookie; spicy, floral hops follow thereafter. Mouthfeel is light to oily, soft, and approaching moderate bitterness towards the finish. Probably the best lager made in the state of Kentucky. Try this next to Urquell, and I think you’ll be impressed with how well this turned out.

Straw yellow color with thin white head. Nose is very zesty with kind of lemon or lime. Very typical Pilsner taste and feel. Easy drinking lawn mower beer.

Appearance - The beer was golden in appearance with visible carbonation and a white head.
Smell - The nose smelled of sweet cereal grains. There was no bitterness.
Taste - The profile was sweet with no sense of balance. If there was a hop profile, it was smothered in sweet grains. The sweet cereal malts dominated to the finish.
Mouthfeel - The carbonation was low, suggesting something might be wrong with this batch.
Overall - This was the least impressive beer from Wooden Cask.
