12 ounce can, packaged on 08/26/22, thanks to Brutaltruth for this one! Served in a snifter, the beer pours a dark brown color with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. The brew smells like caramel, vanilla, bourbon, dark fruit and chocolate. Taste pretty much follows the aroma, but there's also some dark bread, earthy and oak flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's a bit slick and syrupy with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. Thought this was a good enough brew, worth a try if you can find a can. Would like to try a fresher version of this at some point.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This unique little porter pours a dark
murky brown with a modest head of khaki foam that sizzles to a thin ring.
Nose of bourbon, vanilla, dark chocolate, dark fruit hints, and dark roasted
malts. Flavors follow the nose with a few exceptions. Dark chocolate drenched
in bourbon gives rise to a wafting vanilla that fades to the bourbon onslaught.
A dash of dark fruits of raisin and dark cherry mingle with tobacco and raw oak
on the finish. Mouth feel is medium, medium body, faint carbonation, and finishing
faintly dry and a bit raw from the bourbon.
Overall, decent but a bit unbalanced.
Cheers

Canned on 8-26-22. 12oz can poured into a tulip.
Pours a murky dark brown; fluffy light khaki head that falls leaving decent retention and lacing.
The aromas are boozy. Lots of bourbon. Some dark fruits. Lots of raisins. Some caramel and vanilla. Malts are there.
The flavors basically follow the nose. More bourbon leading the way. More dark fruits. More raisins along with some plum. More caramel and vanilla. Some toffee and chocolate coming through. Hints of cherry in the mix. Some peat moss in the finish. The coffee has faded and basically goes unnoticed. Moderate sweetness. Low bitterness. Strong malt backbone. It finishes warm, almost hot, but it's not over the top boozy.
Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of full-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. It's fluffy, sharp, and smooth.
This is an okay barrel-aged beer. It's a little rough around the edges but becomes more balanced as you get into it.

Single can from the brewery.
Dark brown color, no head.
Distinctive bourbon aroma with notes of coffee. High ABV is evident.
Very boozy, good balance of the cocoa and vanilla. The coffee comes through a bit bitter.
I am glad I only got one can, it is delicious and one drink is more than enough for now :-)
