12 ounce can, packaged on 11/02/23, thanks to Brutaltruth for this! Served in a snifter, the beer pours a dark brown color with some ruby red tinges, along with about an inch light tan head that stuck around a little while. There's also a decent amount of lacing. The brew smells like roasted malt, vanilla, coffee and a bit of caramel. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some chocolate (like malted milk balls) noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's creamy and has a lot of soft carbonation. Wish the carbonation was dialed back some here. I liked this one overall, but I tend to like their barrel aged brews more.

Very dark brown with off white head. Nose is cocoa with slight vanilla hint. Taste is all porter, slight char and cocoa. Decent bitterness from char but not too much

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This porter pours a medium dark
brown with a moderate head of khaki foam that settles to a thin ring.
Nose of vanilla, dark roasted malts, and faint coffee. Flavors follow the
nose with vanilla, light coffee, dark brown sugars, and light fudge notes.
Mouth feel is medium, light carbonation, and finishing lightly dry and sweet.
Of note, warmth brings in a cola and exceedingly sweet note.
Overall, a decent brew but lacks real balance. Decent, but not the standard
of what I have come to expect from this brewery which has wowed me multiple
times with their big robust interpretations.
Cheers
