Aroma is berries/blueberries, kind of like berry flavored wine. The flavor is malts, fruit and a strong berry/blueberry/sweet/candy finish.

this is really close to being incredible, a full flavored gose with blueberries and currants. its purple and bright from the tap at the brewery, but almost still looking after the initial pour. the color is wild, like a highlighter, almost unnatural. the nose is nice, tangy from the currants and a little pie-like from the blueberries, minerals from the salt but not obviously salty per se, and a fairly clean but one dimensional lacto sourness, mouthwatering though and nice for spring. the flavor is right on line with the smell, the fruit is less intense than it looks like it should be but both are there and the contribution each lends is quite obvious, very cool and quite professionally done there. the sourness is tired to me, boring and what everyone does, that classic kettle quick sourness, almost all the way clean, lemony and tart without being harsh, its not amazing but its right for this beer. the salt adds more body than brine character, but it also serves to enhance the fruit which is cool here. smooth going down, not a ton of bubbles, not too sour to drink a good amount of it, and a great combination of the currants and blueberries. a red wine barrel and some brett would be fun for this one...
