Think this beer had some off flavors when I tried it. Buttery popcorn taste and mouthfeel from Diacetyl.

Exciting to have a west coast ipa again! But it isn’t what I expected. Not hop heavy in the nose and not Uber-bitter on the tongue. Interestingly melony and estery-fruity. This is the NEIPA of west coast IPAs. Which makes sense, coming from Barntown. But it’s not a west coast ipa. Great clarity on the liquid though, and SRM is amber-gold, spot on. Mouthfeel is creamy, not a tongue buckler. So overall enjoyable, but I wouldn’t order another, and not true to style.
