Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with coppery notes and a two finger white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus hops, lemon, grapefruit, a little dankness and stone fruit. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and lightly piney hops, lemon, grapefruit, light pine, wisps of stone and tropical fruit. Citrus rind and pine finish. Medium bodied with light creaminess. A solid West Coast style IPA with some softness that resembles dry hopping. Classic citrus and pine as dominant hop herbal flavors with suggestions of mixed fruit and dankness. Tastes like it's going into hazy dry hop territory at first, but the pine and citrus build into a satisfyingly bitter finish. Malt is a bit dry for my palette, but overall hits the spot.
