The Swiss Army knife in the Wet Ticket lineup. Brewed with German hops and malts, this traditional Kolsch beer will be enjoyed by anyone who describes themselves as a beer drinker. With a tad more alcohol than your standard Kolsch , this beer is very popular with those new to craft beer, and can be paired with just about any dish. Try it with your favorite fish or even a hearty bowl of chili.

16 oz can. Pours golden with tall, long lasting, fluffy, white head. Aroma is of grassy hops, some citrus fruit and biscuit malt. Body is medium and slightly crisp. Grassy, floral hops, pale malt and some citrus nicely balanced on the palate. Finish is long and dry. Good, refreshing brew.

Very clear light gold appearance with a thin lasting white head.
Medium bodied with about the same for the carbonation which added up to a nice feel.
Aroma is yeasty crusty white bread, cereal, toast, earthy buckwheat honey
Taste is very similar to aroma.
Overall a really well done beer, great attempt at the style

Really like this Kolsch. Have been to Germany many times and have had the real stuff and this is very very comparable. Higher abv than typical of the style but it hides amongst the flavor and dry finish of this excellent rendering.

A clean crisp ale, a perfect every day beer, pairs great with Pizza. Also works as a perfect "entry level" beer while being flavorful enough for seasoned craft beer drinkers.

I've had this beer on draught at several venues. I had it yesterday at the brewery and I'm finally doing a proper review. It pours a hazy, pale gold with a creamy, bright white cap and lacing. On the nose there is wheat cracker, lemon peel, grass, and nutty grain. The taste opens with sweet grains, corn, and nutty brown bread. There is minimal hop presence and almost no bitterness. There is a hint of citrus and a subdued spiciness at the finish. It finishes dryer than it opens. It has a pleasing mouth feel; the draught version is fairly creamy with lite/moderate carbonation. The 6.4% ABV is fairly elevated for a Kolsch and gives it nice substance. Overall, Wet Ticket has done a nice job with its Kolsch. While this is not a style I drink often, I've had it pub food and it pairs nicely.
