Picked this up recently at Joe Canal's in Woodbridge as I was able to get a single can of this off of their rack. Had high hopes for this given it's rating on here but I'm not sure if my can was fresh or not, as this overly tilted towards melon and grape over the other flavors that discerned. It was fitting for the style but I had to *really* let it warm up to enjoy it fully...
Not a bad look to this as this poured a turbid peach that was darker in the middle and contained just a few bits of dark sediment that were out and about in this. Tons of thick, fluffy head topped this off as the lacing was very thick and deep, with the foam never fully retreating. Stone fruit and truffles accompanied the notes mentioned above in the muted nose as the taste leaned towards white wine, woodsy funk, and gooseberry. Moderately slick, quietly balanced, and full of enough carbonation, this checked off all of the proverbial boxes without any particular aspect of it being noteworthy, as the aftertaste was like dank, old hops that got a bit green without being bright.
The carbonation was sufficient and the alcohol was spot-on but this needed something to liven it up a bit. Of course, the can instructed me to "drink fresh" but there wasn't any date to be seen on it. This wasn't bad but it was missing something that would make me reach for it again. Loved the label and name as it was the best attribute of this brew...

Fairly new beer from Wet Ticket. Can definitely stands out in the fridge, beautiful label. My second favorite after Hop Dyed from this local brewery. Well balanced IPA, mot too hoppy and with a slight hint of anise. Has had a hard time recently finding this one as it seems to be selling out all the time from local liquor stores due to its popularity. Lay your hands on a 4 pack if you see it, you won’t regret it!

added by Act 25. 1st review. Worthy of her name.
a) Apricot suitably hazed body, rounded white head with lace round the snifter.
s) Nelson, Galaxy, Simcoe inspire melon, peach nectar, flowers.
t) follows smell and adds grapes and berries, but never over sweet.
f) Lush, nectar like.
o) NJ's finest. Keep this year round.
