IBU: 40
Persistent, white head. Light gold look. Very light aromas of mixed herbs and light toast malt. Restrained floral hops, with a little bite, over a medium light toasted malt base, and a touch of spice, for the taste.

Can from P.Nut
A clear golden orange with a dense, off-white head with excellent retention and lacing. The nose is bright and snappy with an intense German hop character, oily, minty, spicy, earthy, just gorgeous. Along with that is a mild malt character. The palate opens bitter, oily, resiny, pungent with a potent hop character. A delicate doughy malt character is present, a little incongruous. Drying, bitter finish. Decent.

500ml bottle served in a pint glass. Don't see a date on it. Bought it at Elizabeth Station a couple weeks ago.
Pours a clear, light amber-gold with a medium to big head and medium to high carbonation. Smell is toast, grass, pine, maybe lemon. A little spicy yeast.
Taste is a nice balance of grain and bitter hops. Strong flavors but not overwhelming.
Mouthfeel is light and crisp. Overall, this is a really solid no-frills pale ale. I could drink it all day.

Poured from 500mL bottle into my BeerAdvocate teku.
Appearance: shimmery light-gold hue with just the tiniest amount of haze, capped with two thick fingers of frothy ivory foam. I think it looks quite wonderful!
Smell: quite grainy and yeasty with a grassy, noble hop aroma. There's kind of a sweet, caramelly, bready element to it. It's not bad, but it doesn't quite entice me.
Taste: the hop bitterness helps offset the bready, malty character, so the flavor ends up a little more balanced than the aroma. It is definitely bitter, though; it's bracing, for sure. Not bad, although perhaps not totally catering to my palate.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and actually a surprisingly good creaminess for the style.
Overall: like I said, this beer is decent from an objective point of view, but it just really isn't for me.

Served in 16oz Willi Becher glass. Poured a bright, crystal clear and clean, straw yellow color with an inch of white head that very good retention and lacing.
The aroma had a very good grain scent upfront, with some floral and earthy hops as a counter-balance. I also picked up a slight bit of spice, not sure if it was hops or yeast, but it was pleasant. On the tongue, all those same aspects were still apparent, just expanded upon; the hops were sharper and fruitier, the malts more pronounced, and there was a bit of bite at the very end.
The body was light, crisp, smooth, even, and had a dry finish. Drinkability was very good, I could easily see knocking back a few of these. Overall, a very nice brew, a must try if you see it.
