Maibock is a deep golden Bock with moderate bitterness balancing out a slightly sweet malty palate packed with rich, ripe fruit aromas of golden raisins and dried fruits. The lengthy lagering period can sometimes take over 3 months! Plenty of malt and high alcohol strength with a clean finish makes this lager dangerously smooth. Winner of a Gold Medal at GABF (Great American Beer Festival) 2020. Maibock is a great match with any rich foods or desserts. It’s great as an evening sipper too!

Pour murky dirty blonde with a finger of white foam and plenty of lacing. Grassy and floral hops with bright sweet malt in nose. Taste has grassy hops and biscuit yeast star, sweet malt and lemon support, simpler. Feel is sightly hoppier on the spectrum, smooth and dry in a medium body

Moderately light amount of white head. Clear, medium gold appearance. Off-dry, medium toast malt, which has a caramelized note to it and a sweet herbal tinge on the side, for the aroma. Smooth and full, medium light, off-dry, caramelized malt flavor, with a very light herbal/floral character to it, with a nice rounded body, true to a Maibock.

500ml bottle served in a big mug. Didn't find a date on the bottle. Bought it at Full Throttle Bottles yesterday.
Pours clear golden, slightly brassy, medium to large head that collapses into a half finger thick dense layer, lots of active carbonation. Smell is lager yeast, a little spicy, lots of grass.
Taste is moderate honey sweetness, a little hint of lemon, a stronger honeysuckle/floral note, something a little creamy about it.
Mouthfeel is moderately thick but very effervescent. Overall, this is a very enjoyable beer.

Poured into a Celebrator pokal. Pours a medium golden amber with a one finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of biscuit malt, light floral and grassy hops, raisins and lemon. Flavor is biscuit and bready malt, raisins, grassy hops with some floral notes, hints of light dried stone fruit; moderate grassy hop finish. Medium bodied with light to medium creaminess. A fine take on this traditional style, with perhaps a bit more hop bitterness than a continental one, but that fits my palette just fine. Expected light dried fruit character. Chuckanut does a great job with German style beers and this is one of them. I really like their various bocks a lot.

On tap at the source in Burlington.
A clear orange with a dense, white head with good retention and lacing. The nose is classic Chuckanut in that it exemplifies the style perfectly. Rich, bready, with a little bit of firm, earthy, minty old world hop character thatbworks perfectly with the melanoidin rich malt character. The palate opens with the sweetness expected from the styles but with the hops lending a balancing bitterness and complementary suite of flavors to the palate. Mildly sweet with rich bread and white rum soaked golden raisins baked into fresh bread, this is great stuff.

Served in 12oz tulip. Poured a clean, clear honey gold color with 3/4 inch of white head that had very good retention and good lacing.
The aroma was all slightly sweet, yet earthy, malts, with just a very gentle hop presence.
The flavors followed along closely, with the hops having a more notable role.
The body was smooth and even, with a surprisingly semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was very nice, the beer goes easily.
Overall, a very good take on the style, certainly worth a shot if you see it.
