Had a taster on tap at the taproom of the micro in downtown Petaluma.
Interestingly, the taproom got quick food delivery from a burger joint next door and a pizza parlour two doors down. I'm betting better food than a brewer could make. And probably better than food trucks.
My first from Crooked Goat, I went on their website and found their food delivery was the most distinctive part of the Petaluma taproom. The Sebastopol brewery had a similar deal with three local restaurants. Other than that, I found no distinctive reason to visit Crooked Goat again. But, I still give them good Overall Hugs.
As for Bee Beard, the orange bloom honey that was added made it more distinctive than average in a bland style. Without much foam and not much more than sweet malt in my nose, Bee Beard was at least balanced, not sweet. Medium-mouthed in a light style. Glad I had no more than a taster.

Thin, white head. Medium golden color. Restrained, medium toast malt, with a touch of sweet spiced floral hops, for the aroma. Moderate, medium toast malt, floral hop and yeast flavors.
