Really love the soft acidity and light funkiness of Wunderkammer offerings, where the beer is really allowed to display all its nuances without being overpowered by one particular attribute. This one smells and tastes at once like a clean fermented amber ale and a farmhouse ale. Bit of diacetyl but overall quite enjoyable, while also simple.

500 ml. bottle.

Brewed Feb. 2021
Bottled Sept. 2021
Cave conditioned 'til ready!

Pretty lively upon opening with the head slowly but surely rising up the neck of the bottle.
Gentle pour yields a 5/8 inch white head over a copper body with a bit of lacing.

Nose of a semi-sweet spiciness along with a bit of citrus (grapefruit) and a hint of funk.
Very intriguing!

Taste mirrors nose fairly closely having a near perfect grapefruit tartness with a very slight sweetness.
Finish is on the dry side with a little herbal spice left on the palate.

Feel is outstanding, once again; pure sorcery, even!

Overall, yet another gem from Albany, VT.
Cheers to Vasili!
