Decided a Memorial Day BBQ was a good time to crack open the magnum of this that I picked up at CBC Waterbury back in mid-winter. My second beer from Wunderkammer and I continue to be impressed. Like the other beer I've had from them, it shares a lot in common with Hill Farmstead (not surprisingly), and this one in particular reminds me of Anna. It's a little sweeter and the honey character is more noticeable than Anna -- not sure if that's from backsweetening or halting fermentation early. Either way, makes for a lovely refreshing beer with a nice balance of lemony acidity, subtle bretty funk, and honey
