This beer is a call back to the old school saisons I loved that turned me on to the style in the first place. Especially those of golden era Fantome, big fruity dry lime beers that made my brain explode when they hit right. Biermanufaktur is the first of a category of beers that I feel hew close to the traditional beers that inspire me.

500ml bottle, bottled June 2023.
Pours hazy straw yellow with a tall, rocky head of white. Persistent retention with plenty of spongy lacing. Lemon-lime spritzed wet hay with clove-studded apples in the nose. Light bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. Lemongrass, grapefruit zest, and a minerally bite on the palate. Finishes dry and sharp.

500 ml bottled June 2023.
Moderate pour yields a 5/4 inch white head over a hazy golden body with sticky lacing.
Nose of spice and citrus. Can't quite come up with the spice, but it sort of reminds me of a spice from one of my Mom's Christmas cookies; cardamom maybe?
Taste is light to medium tart with some grape coming through with a kind of citrus near the finish with again, that spice. Finish is sherry-like booze and quite delicious.
Very nice and full mouthfeel with more than medium carbonation.
Wonderful!
Overall, I've never had anything like this before and I really like it.
Cheers to Vasili for another gem!
