Picked this up recently at Joe Canal’s in Woodbridge. Couldn’t wait to give it a go and indeed, it was on par what what I’ve come to expect from Icarus. If you like S’mores, than you’ve got a winner here as this was just like them, minus the campfire!

Of course, this poured dark and somewhat thick as the mocha head complemented the liquid nicely. Thick and deep sheets of lacing were left behind as it covered nearly all of the inside of my pint glass. Loads of marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate in the nose as the taste was full, sweet, and of course, sticky! Maybe it was the malts, or maybe it was everything else coming together but this was amazingly cloying and quite potent as the vanilla only added to this beer's heft. For some reason, this felt like a cordial more than a malted barley beverage as I had to sip this in small amounts and needed a chaser of water to wash it down at the end.

Indeed, this looked and felt every bit as strong as it's listed ABV. Dated 2/15 with "LOOKIN GOOD BILLY RAY" written above it, there was no doubt that this was more than a mouthful. If you're missing the campfire and sticks, grab this instead as it will both warm you up and sooth you at the same time. Nightcaps don't get much better than this...
