Light yellow color. Looks and smells like dimetapp. Not much else to say.

Bottle at share. Light golden, small skin of head. Aroma is yeasty. Light, and grassy. Taste adds a bit of edge, some sharpness to the finish. A bit of a savory snap at the end.

Served in 12oz stemware. Poured a lightly cloudy medium yellow color with 3/4 inch of white head that had low retention and lacing.
The aroma had a solid, yet soft, grain base, some nice yeast scents, and a solid Brett presence.
On the tongue, the grain wasn't as bold, but the yeast and Brett aspects held up well.
The body was on the lighter side of medium, crisp, and had a dry finish.
Drinkability was very good, a beer I'd happily have again.
Overall, a pretty nice brew. Certainly worth your time if you see it.

while i was disappointed we couldnt visit their taproom when we were in portland because of the virus, i am thankful to have been able to score a few of their bottles, i love what they do, and was impressed with both this time through. this is an all brett saison, funky but mild, delicate and easy to drink, with a ton of character from the brett and a rather distinctive profile considering there are a lot of brett beers out there these days. this is golden and clear through most of the bottle, some light filmy sediment on the bottom, gives rise to an airy white belgian looking head, and smells farmy and wild to me, with a light grain sweetness through it and subtle stone fruit, peach or apricot, very appealing, very summery. the flavor has a hay and straw thing going on, a from the field sort of vibe, the brett is obvious and the beer is dry, but its not overly mature to me, but it really doesnt need to be, i like the soft nature of it, the way the fermentation profile isnt all i taste, and this particular brett strain or mix of strains seems subtle and interesting, i dont mind its more gentle complexion, in fact i think it makes this beer super drinkable. the carbonation is brilliant, the level of refinement high, and the price very reasonable for what this is. i love these guys, love their yeasts, love their packaging, and continue to be stoked on everything they put out that i encounter. some may say this seems more like a base beer, built for fruit or for blending, but not to me, a great brett beer in its purest form, sure to cellar well also, i should have bought two...

750mL corked and caged bottle purchased at Community Pint, in Spokane, Washington, for $10.99 about a year ago. According to the stamp on the back label, this was part of a batch #3 and was bottled in November of 2017.
Poured into a big Tripel Karmeliet tulip glass, this was a thoroughly hazy shade colored somewhere between lemon and apricot. ENORMOUS off-white head (took about 5 minutes and 1/3 of the beer before it stopped gushing out the top). Tons of lace left behind.
Sweet, tart and funky in the nose, with things pretty well balanced between those three characteristics.
Drinks like a fairly dry Saison, with just a hint of funk from the brettanomyces in the finish. Less funky than I was expecting, really.
Body is on the light end of medium, with a fairly crisp and effervescent mouthfeel.
A nice, (lightly) brett-y Saison. It's quite drinkable, but might be a tad disappointing for someone with a serious desire for a vinegary funk-bomb,cuz this definitely ain't one. Still, I'm enjoying it on this damp, vaguely springy March afternoon.

Clear amber color with a modest foam in the wine glass. Aroma of wet woods and roasted squash. Sort of a funky, grainy taste. It reminds me of a damp cellar. Hints of butter and a very unusual flavor that is not at all pleasant. It tastes like it was left in the refrigerator too long with the lid off. Brewed with "European malt and noble hops." On tap at The Trappist in Oakland.
