Year and a half old bottle into a pilsner glass. Hazy orange color with very strong bubbles and a so-so head retention and crown. Wish it was more pink and less orange as well. The smell ia all strawberry bush, maybe some hay scent. The taste evolves with sour berry and tart up front, shifting into strong oak and tannin character, finishing on long, drawn out strawberry juice on an open palate. There is a distinct twang I can't put my finger on. The mouthfeel is great and bold, silken, and finishes nice and moderateley dry.
This is an incredible fruity ale, I haven't had a better employment in strawberries for beer. Absolutley awesome!

L: Yellow golden apple
S: Light but sharp flavors of strawberry.
T: A simple dtrawberry beer. NO punches or anything exciting but the flavor is subtle and smooth.
F: Extremely light and dainty. The after taste lingers but fades a few seconds after the end of the alcohol.
O: Decent light strawberry beer.

Poured into a Gulden Draak tulip. Pours a medium orange amber with a half finger off-white head with good retention and thick lacing. Aroma of strawberry, light funk and oak, mildly tart. Flavor starts with tart strawberry, light barnyard funk, lemon and a little brett. Tartness intensifies into a tart strawberry, lemon and wild yeast finish. Medium bodied with light creaminess and sharp, active carbonation. A tart little foeder ale with nice fresh strawberry flavors and a mixture of brett and lacto yeast flavors. The strawberry is best in the start, but the lactobacillus tartness finishes this off, leaving a fruity, sour aftertaste with residual wild yeast notes. Not my style, but enjoyed the fresh strawberry notes in this one. I like the looks and presentation of this beer and wish that I was more enthusiastic about sour ales. An interesting brewery that I will revisit with a style more fitting to my palate.

It's almost a pretty beer as it pours a murky deep orange with a drop of pink. A fluffy white head nearly disappears instantly with no lacing to speak of.
The smell is wonderfully blended with funk, oak, acidity, and strawberries.
The flavor follows with the strawberries being a perfect compliment to the tartness and oak, without being distracting or too sweet. The funky "hay/barnyard" flavor lingers in the after taste.
The feel is spot on being well tart, but balanced by strawberry sweetness. Dry finish.
This is an outstanding Foeder aged ale. I look forward to enjoying what else Little Beast has to offer, especially considering their ties to the great classics from Logsdon. If this is a fair representation of the capabilities of Little Beast, we are all in for a treat. Cheers!
