A 2024 fresh hop Pale Ale brew from Little Beast. The bill? Pounds upon pounds of fresh, wet Centennial.
A taste explosion. The lupulin on the palate is very special. Balance. Pure hop oil bath. Sprucey pine. Insane sticky terpy danky fruity earthy. Allium layer upon layer and literally tingles the tongue.
What’s cool is that this is all made evident by keeping this pale and not india. Lets the hops through! Remains balanced, delicious, crushable. Thank you!
Love and cheer

Look: Nearly clear yellow with what ended up as a billowing pillow of a head that coated the glass’ rim with lacing
Aroma: Cut grass along with rose flowers, star jasmine, coneflower, and sweet box – to name a few of the deep floral notes, and citrus fruits. Not much in the way of malt coming to the nose for me
Taste: Grass, flowers, and citrus combine forces to open things up and immediately move through layers of depth and complexity. Malt is present but clearly in the background throughout and closes as it started
Mouthfeel: Light but fairly full, medium-high carbonation, and an ever-so-slightly dry finish
Overall: I’m digging it. I love what Centennial hops bring to the table in general and when used as a fresh hop addition so wanted to try this again as my first try was from last year and it was several weeks old at that point. Tons of potpourri flowery goodness, grass, and lemon-lime as expected and a very light malt bill that does its job and lets the Centennials shine

16oz can served in a tulip. This is a fresh hop beer. Dated 08/31/21.
Pours clear light yellow with a medium sized head and moderate to light active carbonation. Smell is a little grain tea and some vinous greenness.
Taste is pretty nice. Pale ale for sure, light and grainy, but with a serious green twist at the end and a medium bitterness.
Mouthfeel is very light and very dry. Overall, pretty nice beer, especially for being a four week old fresh hop.
