Amber brew is hardly hazy at all. Plenty of foam in the glass and carbonation on the tongue. Interesting aroma of citrus and cooked greens. Moderately sweet with a slight malty taste of cereal. Otherwise this is quite juicy with flavors of lemon, orange peel, lime zest finish, and cantaloupe. Finish is quite sharp but then oddly watery with lingering bitterness. Has the fresh hop herbaceous character but it's another example of how hard it is to use them in a hazy beer. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bridge & Tunnel in Astoria.

16oz can served in a snulip. No date on it that I see.

Pours a hazy pale yellow with a medium to small head that fades to a thin skin. Smell is lemon and green leaves.

Taste is mildly fruity, kind of a melon or pear flavor, some of the green leaves flavor but not much in the way of resin.

Mouthfeel is fairly light, dry, airy. Overall, pretty good.

16oz can served in a big snifter. No date again. Mostly I'd agree with my previous assessment.

16oz tallboy can purchased at Community Pint last Friday night for $6. Freshness date appears to have been incompetently printed on the bottom of the can, looking like a triangle of jumbled letters and numbers, and is effectively unreadable.

Poured into an IPA glass, this was a very chill-hazed yellowy shade of amber, with a big, creamy, eggshell-white colored head. Lots of lace.

The moment this poured into the glass, I got a big whiff of an aroma that reminded me of a crisp, fruity white wine. As it warmed, the nose took on a tropical fruit-like aroma that seemed more in keeping with the description on the can label, but also kept a fair amount of nose like I'd expect from a Gewurtstraminer.

For a hazy IPA, this definitely drinks light, fruity and crisp. Bitterness is quite low. Drinkability is quite high.

Fairly light bodied for a FH IPA, hazy or not.

While not what I tend to think of when thinking of FH IPAs, this was quite easy to drink. If your fall is a strangely warm one, perhaps this is the FH beer to drink, as it's flavorful but also immensely crushable.
