Canned on 5/19/21; consumed on 6/28/21
Pours an opaque, dark sunflower-gold body capped with a slight finger of fluffy, white foam; decent head retention leaves a paper-thin veil of cap over the surface, while a thin, frothy collar and array of webby lacing hug the walls of the glass.
Aroma expresses an unrelenting distribution of mango, lychee, and spikes of ripe gooseberry along with deeper underpinnings of pineapple chunks and fuzzy peach; a spicy hop note sees a dank tinge weave through a subtly bready malt sweetness in the backdrop, while orange-lemon fusion feeds a tropical, semi-sweet citrus underbelly shining through on the close.
Taste offers overripe guava and lightly spiced bready malts apparent at the front of the palate soon embracing mango smoothie, mushy lychee, and papaya over the middle,, while a tinge of white grape on the back end proves a dank transition to straight orange pulp on the finish.
Mouthfeel shows a medium-full body with slick resins gliding in symbiosis beneath a milder carbonation and encroaching, semi-creamy texture; a steady prickle remains level across the mid-palate, with a juicy peak dispersing a distant, gritty bitterness firmly in the background through the finish to shroud any boozy sensations.
Formidable in flavor without the abrasive construction typically found in heavily-hopped TIPAs, Electric imparts a hop profile rich in fruity density to overtake the often unavoidable weight found at this end of the style; yet another exercise in the layered refinements distinguishing the highest tier of NEIPA from this brewery.

Very cloudy straw appearance with nice white head that dissipates slowly. Aroma is a very prominent grapefruit and citrus. Taste is also a very pleasant prominent grapefruit and citrus with a very nice feel.
