Canned on 6/7/22; consumed on 6/29/22
Pours a turbid, pale mango-gold body capped with three fingers of fluffy, densely soapy, white foam; solid head retention leaves a finger of creamy cap, a thin, frothy collar, and a generous display of chunky, webby lacing caked around the walls of the glass.
Aromas of mango and papaya become enwrapped in lemon bubblegum undertones, with tangerine and grapefruit offering a citrus-forward deterrent over the middle while ripe guava is enmeshed in resinous peach syrup on the back end of the bouquet.
Taste highlights green papaya contrasting grapefruit pulp, passionfruit, and lemon peel upfront, with slight mossy undertones over the mid-palate phasing to tangerine, a resinous overlay of wet moss, and dank, musty clementine into the finish.
Mouthfeel brings a medium body and a fluffy, moderate carbonation; a bright hop twang evolves a juicy grit through the mid-palate as the weight of boggy resins over the back end produces a level creaminess and a clean, resinous sheen to the finish/swallow.
Resins carry predominant tropical/citrus fruits atop boggy hops, gliding a distinctly earth-forward profile enveloped in a cloud of dank hop funk; a weighty, quietly complex depth of expression, cleanly presented.
