Canned on 7/12/22; consumed on 8/7/22
Pours a turbid, dark orange body topped with a finger and a half of fluffy, off-white foam; decent head retention leaves a paper-thin layer of cap, a thin, creamy collar, and a multitude of soapy, webby/spotty lacing strewn across the walls of the glass.
Aromas of lime sherbet and clementine upfront cede to gritty resins and undertones of grass as shreds of pineapple and orange pulp mark an intensely boggy, tropical build.
Taste brings orange creamsicle to wet moss and earthy mango peel, leaving tangerine pulp against red grapefruit over the mid-palate while touches of pure dank oils find a wispy malt backing toward the finish.
Mouthfeel offers a fuller body with a fluffy prickle of moderate-high carbonation dispersing to creamy textures washed with glossy resins; a silky grit ovwr the mid-palate sees a pseudo-bitterness through the back end and into the finish.
Milky hop density charges a boggy weight laden in persistently subliminal earthiness beneath firm tropical must overtones; a deeply expressive and filling NEIPA, fully indulging the hop profile without sacrificing balance.
