Canned on 1/20/23; consumed on 2/15/23
Pours a turbid, dark gold body topped with two fingers of fluffy, white foam; solid head retention yields a slight layer of cap, moderate, frothy collar, and modest spread of spotty, soapy lacing dotting down the walls of the glass.
Aroma brings orange pith accented with distant tinges of damp oregano along with a soft grapefruit twang; a boggy stank is balanced within key lime as a resinous dank phases into shades of bubblegum and pink Starbursts sporting mossy edges on the close.
Taste features grapefruit and key lime phased into dew-soaked grass, an earthiness soon cut with mango sorbet and prickly papaya over the mid-palate as accents of guava peel and green banana linger.
Mouthfeel shows a medium-full body and a moderate fluff of carbonation, a boggy weight saturating as a resinous prickle stimulates the mid-palate; juicy textures prevail as a slickness lingers through the finish.
An excess of texture and expression, at times sacrificing order for extremity while maintained in pockets of resinous glow; a definitive sort of Electric NEIPA.
