Belgian inspired Rye Ale
Soaring off Mt. Seven on world class thermals, high above the Columbia wetlands, is a radical experience. It inspired us to create Launchpad, blending Pilsner and rye malts, noble hops, and Belgian yeast. Are you up for it?

Pours a clear copper to ruby colour with finger and a half of tawny coloured fine bubbly head.
Aroma certainly has some spicy rye malt, but dominant Belgian yeast notes - fruity, banana, spice and just a touch of funk.
Tastes sweet and slightly fruity - pear, apple, Belgian yeast, again banana, clove, but also evident spicy rye malt with a farmhouse like funkiness with hints of pepper.
Medium mouthfeel - moderate carbonation with a funky spicy bittersweetness lingering on the palate.
Not what I expected - “Belgian inspired” should have been a clue - but quite decent.
