Valemount 19/7 2018. 65 cl bottle from BC Liquor in Valemount. Drawing of struggling Mountain climber on the label. Whitetooth seems pretty preoccupied by all the healthy interests you can indulge in when visiting British Colombia.
Pours slightly hazy pale yellow with a fairly small white head. Settles as a thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is very Belgian inspired. Humid basement meeting strong citric odor. A little grapefruit, but not dominating. Light sweet caramel.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively texture.
Flavor is refreshing but not very strong. Reminds me a little of lemonade. Medium sweetness nicely balanced by a medium citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Fairly short lived.
Simple but effective thirst quencher. But a little cumbersome to drag this fairly heavy bottle up to the top of the mountain to enjoy the view.

Poured from a 473ml can. 17 IBU's
A: Pours a nice clear light golden with a thin white head.
S: Hints of spice a a slight whiff of dank hops.
T: A bit of a tang to it with hops in the background.
F: Very light with nice bubbly carbonation.
O: A very eazy drinking pale ale, nice to see it in cans.
