Arrives a seriously dark brown with a tan head that drops to a ring fairly quick.
Smell is toasty malt, semisweet chocolate with a slight ash note.
Taste is roasted malts, chocolate, vanilla with a mild sweetness that offsets the toastiness nicely. Faint raisin note after the swallow.
Nearly medium bodied (too light for my preference) and very lightly carbonated. Bump the body up and I'm a happy camper.
