Pours black with a coffee colored one finger head. Aroma is dark roasted malt. Taste is a roasted malt, not as dark as the one promised by the aroma. Carbonation is medium to low and the body is moderate.

Dark Hondo pours black with a small, tan head. The aroma is sweet and sugary, with hints of chocolate. The flavor is sweeter, with chocolate notes and creamy—good body and feel. Overall, a bodied porter with lovely flavors on the sweeter, sugary side.
