There is a stamp on the can that says "12/14/22"
The ABV on the can says "5.0% ABV" which is different from what is listed here.
Appearance: The body is a medium gold color with pretty good clarity. There is a bit of haze but it is still very easy to see through. It has a very large head which is slightly off-white and very foamy. It has excellent head retention and it leaves large frothy rings of foam on the glass.
Aroma: There is a pleasant noble hop aroma which is somewhat spicy and a touch herbal. It has a faint dough aroma to the beer which fits well. It smells great.
Taste: Up front there is a light herbal flavor and it is quickly replaced by this large bready flavor. It has flavors of multigrain bread, wheat bread crust, biscuit, and wheat cracker. Towards the back of the mouth there is a touch of a berry flavor mixed with a touch of lemon. The aftertaste has a bit of a twiggy flavor and some faint pizza dough.
Mouthfeel: The body of the beer is medium to medium-full. It has an extremely smooth texture which is very easy to drink and very enjoyable. There is a very mild herbal hop bitterness.
Overall: It was a thoroughly enjoyable beer. The can states that it is a "Foeder Aged Kvass Style Rye Lager" and that it was "Baked and brewed in collaboration with our friends at The Bakehouse at Chelsea." The beer has a lot of bready and grain-laden flavors but the rye didn't stand out to the point where it was even noticed. The wood character from the Foeder also didn't come through in either the aroma or flavor of the beer. It still manages to be a very delicious and highly enjoyable beer to drink. It has an amazing texture that is unlikely to be improved upon and both the flavors and aromas are outstanding. The beer would go well with anything from hamburgers to pizza. I would definitely drink it again and I highly recommend it.

Light haze to a golden body with an initial couple fingers of head that fades to a ring after leaving a little bit of lace near the top of the glass. There isn't much to the nose, a litte wood and rye mix, maybe some dry grass.
It is quite dry from the opening sip. As it warms, there's a little fruitiness with orchard fruit and white grapes. The rye comes in the middle, with the Sterling following with some bitterness and a bit of peppery spice. The foeder seems to play in as the rye gives way to the hops.
A nice, dry beer with an earthy to woody to peppery profile. Not sure how it fits into the style, as this one has hops, a little more ABV, and no roots/fruits/veggies as the style page indicates.

On tap at Dominion Wine and Beer.
Clean and crisp with higher than normal bitterness. I’m having a hard time finding the rye derived spiciness. Otherwise a nice lager.
