east coast style pale here, really hazy and dry hoppy, but still bright in the glass and really well carbonated, it doesnt drink as heavy as others because of this. its a fine beer, certainly on trend, but it was my least favorite of all the weathered souls beers i had while i was in here, it just lacks identity, and seems way less ambitious and exciting than just about everything else on their menu. not to say its bad, but its definitely over hopped for what it is, with some of that green vegetal bite taking hold before the finish and a bitterness and even sharpness lingering that dont really belong. that said, there are some cool hop nuances to this, mango and passion fruit come to mind, as does white wine, there is just too much of it, and even though there is some grain texture to this the malt flavor is almost nonexistent. its also got this thing like its citra hops but kind of broken down by heat or something, like a decaying citra, and a weird ester to it, perhaps the dry hopping or even the fermentation happened warmer than would be ideal. i know they can do it because the double dry hopped whos got the juice now was incredible, but this one is not on that level...
