A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy and a bit pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that never completely faded away and also left some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of grapefruit hops are present in the nose along with hints of mango and pine.
T: The taste follows the smell and also exhibits some dankness. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied, crisp, and somewhat juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: If the beer is asking a question, then Weathered Souls definitely has the juice now.

16oz can courtesy of frijoless.
very hazy pale gold color, nice bubbly white head with decent retention.
Fruity orange smell. The finish has a bite to it I just can't enjoy.
Overall, it probably super good to the IPA lovers but not my cup of ...ehh... tea.

Fresh can from brewery courtesy of frijoless.
L: light orange mango juice. Almost yellow. Creamy head.
S: Stonefruit.
T: mango grapefruit resin burn.
F: juicy and dry with some moderate hop burn.
Overall: Definitely some fresh DDH going on. In the spirit of monkish and trillium it may actually benefit from sitting for a week or two to calm down on the burn. I like it though.

this is downright fantastic, absolutely the best of the hoppy beers i had in here, and one i would go back for. its hazy sure, but its neither too thick or too unrefined to be visually appealing or pleasing in texture, and the hop profile is incredible. possibly my favorite of all the weathered souls beers i had last week. i think there has to be some vics secret or something in here, there is that down under almost savory component, not as fruity and bright as galaxy, but so distinctive and different in here, like it isnt just mosaic and citra again. notes of sweet lemon verbena, lemongrass, and lime zest come out in the flavor, honeydew melon too, all very fresh. a nice starchy grain base too, maybe oats and raw wheat in this, but its not protein rich and dense to me, it stays sort of fluffy and airy and light to me in terms of texture. the hops have just the right amount of mid palate bitterness but finish clean, impressive for the style, and the beer is real dry at the end too, but its not gone too fast, just right again! i liked pretty much all the beers i had from these guys, but this one really stood out to me. i have been back and forth on the style, but this one is a winner!
