Pretty nice IPA, hop bitterness is well balanced and mildly citrusy.

Picked up a 16 oz can at The Casual Pint in Virginia Beach a combination beer store and pub that features a lot of Oozlefinch beers. This beer is a collaboration between Oozlefinch and Weathered Souls Brewing from Texas. Poured into a pint glass, this beer is a dull, hazy straw-yellow color with a medium size foamy white head. Head retention is good and there is some lacing on the glass. Aroma is mostly grapefruit with mild bitterness. Flavor is more of the same. I had this beer with hot and sour soup and a Chinese entree. The flavor of the beer stood up well to the spicy food. The grapefruit and bitterness were prominent and there was a dank element like a NE IPA. Mouthfeel was fairly smooth but there was a good level of bitterness and a hint of alcohol. Rich enough for a DIPA. I liked this beer. Goes well with spicy food. If I saw it in a Chinese or Indian restaurant I would certainly try it again.

Cloudy orange with two fingers of airy, near-white head. Modest retention and lacing, but a bit of a bubbly crown.
Grassy, catty aroma with a hints of strawberry-mango and popcorn.
Hints of mango, berries and dough peak through in the taste before a great grassy, weedy, green onion taste in the finish.
Very thick, creamy feel with a burst of fizz upon swallowing.
Delicious NEIPA with a nice mix of flavors.
