Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug. This can says 4.9% ABV.
Appearance: light golden hue with a light haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam which dissipates pretty quickly. Not too bad.
Smell: quite yeasty with a moderate sweetness and a nicely grainy note. There’s a little tiny bit of spice here, almost like you’d get in a rye beer.
Taste: moderately sweet and a bit yeasty, like the aroma. There’s kind of a light stone-fruitiness here as well. It’s not bad, but it’s not as clean and crisp as I think of a Pilsner as being.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a big carbonation and a pretty good creaminess for the style.
Overall: a drinkable beer, especially at this ABV, but also not quite the crushable crispiness that a German Pilsner should be in my opinion.

Can. White head. Golden yellow color.
Bready and biscuity but a bit of corn. Earthy hops. Just not as crisp and clean as I’d like. Okay pilsner.

Pour is a deep yellow / light amber, not quite as clear a traditional pils. Great head and retention, though. Foam character is great, but knocking off some points for being too dark and not brilliantly clear.
Nose is grainy, bready, dough, subtle grassy hops.
Taste follows. Nice bready, cracker grain character followed by a hint of grassy, lemon zest hop character. moderate bitterness on the finish. great beer.
Clean, crisp finish. moderately dry. hint of grassy bitterness lingers

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving just a moderate amount of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strong of a bready smell mixed with a bit of caramel and some light apple and pear. Along with these smells comes a little bit of hay and herbal smell as well.
Taste – The taste begins with a crisp cracker malt and slightly grainy taste with some light caramel sweetness. These flavors persist throughout the taste. Upfront there is also a light lemon and citrus hop tastes that later fade as the taste advances. At the same, time some earthy and herbal hops develop in the flavor, taking the place, and surpassing the citrus that was present upfront. Toward the end a bit of grass comes to the tongue as well, mixing with the present flavors to leave a nice crisp and pleasantly and lightly hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light and crisp with a carbonation level that is average. For the style and the taste profile the feel is great and makes for a crisp refreshing sipper.
Overall -A quite nice, crisp, and enjoyable pils. Not overly malty and very approachable with just the right hit of hop. Well done.

Somewhat murky golden body, white head, light lacing. Light grains, pilsner malts, grassy hops make up the nose. Taste follows this path, has a little buttery nature to the malts and more robustness to the grains, very nice and authentic. Feel is crisp, medium bodied, has good graininess while staying streamlined through the sip. Good all around german pils

Pale gold body; plenty of classic carbonation; one-finger thick head, dense and creamy. Nice, soft, cereal grain scent; light sweetness on the nose. Very mild malt backbone with a mild to moderate hop bitterness; clean tasting. Light body; soft and dry on the palate.
This is a fine example of a German pilsner. No frills yet very satisfying.
Served at 51 °F; no canning data noted on the can.

A: The beer is relatively clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down but never completely faded away.
S: Moderate aromas of grainy malts and grassy hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, with the hops also contributing a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is a very good American representation of a German Pilsner.
