A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a short tan head that quickly died down, leaving a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of fruity coffee beans are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional flavors of caramel with hints of chocolate. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium- to full-bodied and slick on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. There is a touch of warming in the finish.
O: This beer isn't as heavy in body as what I would have expected for a beer of this strength. It also hid any traces of alcohol from the taste.
