The rating may have been a bit higher if I had had this beer sooner. I bought a 16 oz crowler at the brewery a couple weeks ago and just got to it tonight. A bit flat but still a nice beer.
Poured into a tulip glass. Oily dark brown color with really no head or lacing. Very strong dark roast coffee smell and taste. Some nice dark chocolate flavors. Hints of bourbon, cinnamon and pepper,maybe some chili. Would have liked it from tap, but can have only so much beer at the brewery.
