From a 16 oz. can with no date that I could see. Sampled Sept 16, 2022.
Gorgeous looking dark brown to black pour under a modest and fading tan head. Fads completely after a few minutes.
Fine aroma of dark roasted malts, chocolate fudge, cherries, and nutmeg. I don't get an alcohol sensation.
Smooth and creamy medium to full mouthfeel.
The taste is sweet with those same chocolate, cherry, and nutmeg characters but there is this added surprise of something akin to Tabasco sauce or at least some kind of pepper note. Little to no booze. Delightfully unique is a good description.
