Pours out a nice medium amber color, very hazy with a nice off white, thick head that's semi dense and has good retention. Lacing around the glass is great and the aroma is just gorgeous.
Grapefruit and lemon zest right off the bat and mild tropical fruit, wheat grass and even a mild raisin smell come trough.
The taste isn't as good as it looks or smells, but it's not a complete let down. The grapefruit and lemon zest is a bit underwhelming, almost stale, but not off putting in any major way. The bitterness comes out as it hits the sides of your mouth and the aftertaste is pretty smooth, but you don't get that hoppy kick you enjoy with most IPAs.
This is a medium to light bodied IPA, smooth and somewhat enjoyable, it's really the flavor that was lacking, again, not bad I would't pass it up but I would't buy in a can again.
