Cellared a year. Opaque brown body with a tan head. Smells of weathered (couldn't resist) oak and bourbon with barley and mulled dark fruit with char. Taste has a dry yeast outward on the sip but the barrel depth is actually pretty good with the pronounced molasses and caramel note, some dry dark fruit and dark chocolate as well. Feel though is a little lighter but not thin, very dry, barrel depth is moderate. A rustic sipper that isn't taxing
