At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From my favourite but now closed The Beer Store on Goyeau St. in nearby downtown Windsor. Lot number C09L571610. My third beer from the Toronto, Ontario brewery, and for 2025. With Sundae the cat...

I bought a can at the beerstore in Ontario 473ml at 4.9%.
poured a 1finger head into glass that quickly disappeared.
just a plain taste not much flavor with a medium bitterness.
light bodied.
overall a boring beer to drink no taste just plain maybe a little sweet near the end but yes it is drinkable and cheap .
cheers.

It smells like piss and it tastes like shit. Brava is the only beer that I drink. All day, every day, only Brava 365. If you don't sip the B, you're fucking up. Don't @ me.

My local, in-person trader, @tone77 recently dropped off a buncha CANadian CANned beers for inclusion in The CANQuest (tm) & while I ran through a bunch of them at the beginning of July for CANada Day, I ran short on time during our 4th of July CANebration. Bastille Day has likewise passed so now I CAN get back to the CANadian CANs.

From the CAN: "Premium Lager"; "Exceptionally Smooth".

I Crack!ed open the vent on this large CAN & beCAN a slow, gentle C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. It foamed up nicely to form just over two fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, bone-white head with decent retention, slowly falling to wisps. Color was Pale-Straw (SRM = 1 - 2) with NE-quality clarity. Nose was really sweet with an underlying corn aspect. 8=p Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium, about on par for the style. The taste ranged from metallic to corn to sugary sweet. This was pretty bad, even for a pretty bad style. Finish was super sweet & while corn was not its major problem, it was all adding up. I was finished after just one of these. YMMV.

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is like a field full of corn. Taste is of corn, some malts, a bit on the sweet side. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall it's refreshing and ain't bad for a cheap lager.

355ml can - I thought that I'd humped this one a long time ago, but apparently not. Always nice to review a beer made (ok, 'manufactured') in one's own burg, isn't it? Hey there, Whitemud Drive Labatt employees!

This beer pours a clear, pale golden yellow colour, with three fingers of puffy, slightly rocky, and bubbly dirty white head, which leaves a decent array of slowly melting, yet still looming iceberg profile lace around the glass as it quickly blows off.

It smells of rank orchard droppings, the sort that have sat on the ground for at least a week or so, gritty cornmeal-based 'malt', yeasty phenols, a touch of paint thinner, and whatever else losing your soul amounts to in an olfactory sense. The taste is cheap bready and corny graininess, muddled and equally inexpensive pale fruity notes (ones duly touched by some unpleasant 'wild' yeast), a still way too relevant acetone astringency, and yeah, the same sense of abject gutter failure from the nose.

The bubbles are good and playfully frothy at first, but fade away in a blink of an uvula, the body medium-light in weight for the real style here, and yeah, smooth, but we all know about that metric with these sorts of things, right? It finishes well off-dry, somehow, the corn-fed malt not knowing when to pack 'er in, it would seem.

Overall, a typical version of the pap that the big brewers produce and package in many different vectors to keep the hobos and otherwise undiscriminating lager fans in the game. I gotta say, after having stopped analyzing this offering, it suddenly got a mite bit 'better' - huh, maybe I now know why those foppish gents (among lesser-appearing others) regularly buy this stuff by the 15-pack at my local bottleshop.

Now here's a surprising beer. Most domestics on here tend to get beat up pretty badly by other reviewers, but for what Brava is, it's a great, cheap lager. Definitely a thirst quencher for sure. Color isn't great, honestly, and who honestly pours a beer like this into a glass? It's a beer that you sit down with on the couch during a hot day and drink; you don't wait for it to reach the perfect, frostiest temperature and then pour it into 490ml glass that's been washed with organic soap and left to dry in a controlled environment. Honestly, people put up too much fuss about reviewing domestic beers.

Brava is great for a relaxing beer. Good taste, not offensive like some other shitty beers and it's relatively balanced. A great beer to bring to parties or to stock the fridge up with something you can afford on a budget. Give this one a try!

A- Pours crystal clear golden/yellow color and is super carbonated....it seriously looks like champagne bubbles...that's how aggressive it is! There was only a quick fizzy head that disappeared as quickly as it formed, leaving absolutely nothing in its' wake! There is absolutely no lacing either....it looks like a paler version of ginger ale to be honest....

S- Aromas are purely of adjunct.....corn adjunct to be more precise. It is sweet smelling, grainy and again, like boiled corn. There could be perhaps a tinge of malted barley aromas contained but I can't be certain! No hop presence in the aromas either.....pure cheap macro smell!

T- This isn't the worst buck a beer I've tasted surprisingly! While the flavors follow the aromas in the fact that there is no real beer flavor, but rather a uniquely sweet grain taste, that, you guessed it, tastes like corn! Little to no hop presence either but not too shocked at this.....more or less clean on the palate and nothing offensive.

M/O- Thin bodied, plenty of carbonation and a pretty unassuming beer overall. I do recommend getting through it quickly as it does degenerate as it warms....not good! I am on the fence.....if I feel like something cheap, I may very well consider this again, but don't go out of your way for it.....better than expected for what it is!
