For those on a budget, this is a good brew for you. All the basics are there but in limited quanities. Colour is medium golden and clear. No head after 10 seconds of display. Distinct odour of yeast. Medium/full body and light carbonation.
Slight bitterness to the taste and non lingering (which are good things)
IMHO, ya get what ya pay for...

When the supermarket label "President's Choice" crossed over into brewing, one of the first products was "Premium Draft", a clone of the Canadian version of MGD. Once brewed by Lakeport, it's now a Labatt product.
PC Premium Draft is anything but; I mean, the whole slant was "low-priced clone", right?
But it's drinkable, in the way that MGD is drinkable: light tasting (though 5.0% alc/vol), no discernable aftertaste, comes in six-packs, etc.
There's a whole line of this stuff: German-style, English ales, red beers, etc, etc. My only nit is that these beers are "full chemical" (vs barley, hops, yeast, water) beers -- often attempted clones of decent styles of beer, yet not made in any way like the originals.
Two thumbs down.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
