Bought as part of a case of Labatt Brewers Collection Summer beers from Southtown Beverages on 4/26/13. Case price $ 10.99.
poured from an 11.5 oz bottle into a glass tumbler, served at fridge temp.
appearance: pale, washed out, brassy yellow with a 1 finger white head. decent lacing.
aroma: very faint, just the barest hint of hops.
mouthfeel: flat and thin.
taste: pale malt with a touch of hops.
notes: I see this beer is listed as 'retired'. I have no idea how old this bottle is. Not much to this beer. Something to drink.

Bought a case of Labatt's brewer's variety cause it was onsale for cheap - like $10.99 or something at my local distributor a few weeks back. Not one of my favs but gave these a chance every now in then throughout my normal drinking rotation.
Poured a bottle into your standard pint glass for review. Pours light yellow, pretty much straw colored with little head that fades. Smell has some light floral notes and nice little bready notes. As it warms, I get some grainy notes which detract from the initial aromas when cold. In other words, drink this one cold, not warm. Tastes clean with pilsner malt notes upfront, then with some husky grain notes as it warms. Feels light & drinkable. Overall, a very average beer. Cleanly brewed but no personality by any means.

Poured into a pilsner glass, color is straw with bright white that lingers very nicely
Smell is pretty grainy, can't pick out any pale malt or biscuity qualities, nor hop notes.
Taste is clean, but more grainy than flavorful, would expect some semblance of malt flavor but nothing.
Mouthfeel is actually a little interesting, slightly present a touch hard or thick, tough to describe - finishes pretty crisp but with a lingering thickness in the tongue.
Overall, better than a light beer, but I really would like some malt flavor or scent to make this beer pop out more than you would expect from a macro.
