First review, please bear with me.
Pours pretty much black, i didn't have much of any head.
Minimal lacing on the glass.
Smells of coffee, that's all I'm getting.
Feels medium plus on the thickness. Not too thick, but borderline syrupy for me.
Taste of coffee, roasty. Still getting a syrup thing.
Overall this was a good extra in a trade. I probably would not have bought this one my own. And can only recommend to those that really like the coffee forward, and dont mind some syrupy feel. I did enjoy it, but won't seek it out again.

Pours dark brown, minimal beige head, but it hung out a while. Red highlights when held up to the light.
The smell is espresso initially, but chocolate comes in and a sweetness. There is an odd fruity or bubblegum aroma as it warms up. Not unpleasant, but absolutely out of place in a coffee stout.
The flavor more or less follows. Decent coffee and sweet milk chocolate, a hint of vanilla. But there is that odd flavor at the end that is way outside the profile. Doesn't taste bad, just doesn't belong.
Mouthful is medium, slightly sticky, a little creamy.
Overall, a decent coffee stout. I can't get past whatever is lurking at the end of the taste with this one. Won't have it again, and can't honestly recommend it. The score is somewhat generous - the good coffee notes save this one. UA beers appear to be premium-priced - this one does not justify the cost.

Pours an opaque dark brown color almost black like oil (pours very similar to an imperial stout, but it is not) with thick creamy khaki colored head. Coffee and chocolate just take over the nose; follows onto the palate. Full bodied and smooth. Finishes with more coffee and chocolate, a roasty note sneaks in.

Poured 12oz bottle into snifter. Very dark coffee brown with a 1 finger thick light brown head. It fades slowly into a fat collar and the lacing coats my glass. Aroma is a lighter roast of coffee with accents of cream and caramel. Flavor follows aroma and adds some milk chocolate. The coffee never becomes bitter. A nice creamy body that is rich and smooth. A well made base stout with the right coffee flavors.
