i like that this one isnt super sweet, and i like it being only 8% abv, lower for the style but it lets this be more drinkable and lets the added ingredients do their thing without having to be beaten over the head by them. pours a little viscous but not as dark as many of these have been, almost in the brown ale family in the right light, very little head to this, but im not wishing for more bubbles or anything, there is nice textural smoothness to this, and its palate coating without being heavy as many, i like the mouthfeel overall. the nose and taste are similar in this, lots of cinnamon, but mostly on the back end, dark chocolate without it being too sugary or candied tasting, and some brown sugar or cooked sugar richness and flavor, still a stout underneath it all too, hints of vanilla, new oak, brandy, and maple, more winter than summer, but a great mix of flavors and to me a little less forced than some of theirs have been. i like how long its on the palate but not in a super sweet way, i like the warmth but also the slight bitterness of the cinnamon with the roasted grain on the swallow, and the chocolate isnt too much. nice beer overall here, good brown sugar and molasses character, cool base stout, better than a lot of these that i have had from untitled art so far!

12oz can pours out like other UA pastry stouts; dark brown to opaque black in the glass with a small, filmy khaki head. I am a sucker for cinnamon in stouts and this one does it well, maybe even more subtly than the Fremont offerings that I like so much; there is a strong, present sweetness on the nose and palate that leads to a sticky, viscous mouthfeel. Lots of fudgy chocolate and a strong impression of caramel as well. Good stuff all around!

Decent pour. Not much head. Lace is more like a syrup film. Definite notes of chocolate and cinnamon. Quite high on the sweetness scale as you would expect from a pastry stout. Yeast matter left in the bottom of the glass. Overall, good but there are much better out there.

4-Pack from the Minneapolis area. Tasting this one back at the hotel. Drinking out of a 12oz standard pint-style glass.
Beer was served at 50-60 degrees, 'cellar temp'. Upon opening, the smell is strong, sweet, chocolatey, and just a hint of cinnamon. I've had nothing to eat in about 3 hours and cleansed my pallet with cool water.
The beer looks like root beer when poured. It has a very nice red-brown hue, light carbonation, no head to speak of. The beer is dark but not black. There is the ever so slightest amount of sedimentation at the bottom of the can. The aroma opens up on the pour revealing a bit of vanilla, the cinnamon, and I still get the chocolate aroma.
The mouthfeel is velvet smooth - like silk. It's got a moderate body to it, not too 'thick'. The 8% alcohol lends itself to a gentle warmth upon swishing but it is not in any way overpowering. The sweetness is strong and tends to linger for a good 30 seconds or so after the swallow. Upon taking another sip, you're reminded again how sweet the beer is. For me, its a 'close out the night' type of beer to be consumed before bed to warm you up, for dessert after dinner, or for sipping during long chats with friends. I also tend to drink beers like this while gaming. 1 or 2 does the trick and they are pleasant.
I'd prefer it to have a higher ABV of 11%+ and cut back a slight amount on the cane sugar/candi syrup while upping the brown sugar/cinnamon. For me the cinnamon notes get tough to pick out amongst the general sweetness.

Untitled Art Chocolate Cinnamon Churro Pastry Stout (Imperial Stout), 8% ABV. Pours black with a 2+ finger beige head that left no lacing. Aroma is as advertised, strong chocolate and cinnamon, plus peppers, chocolate, and batter. Taste follows, quite sweet, faintly bitter. Decent mouthfeel, overall outstanding. A true pastry stout.

In what's basically the Mexican version of funnel cake, Untitled Art looks to the churro for inspiration in their imperial pastry stout.
Deep and dark brown, and just a shade shy of black, Chocolate Cinnamon Churro Pastry Stout isn't just a mouthful to say, but is a sticky sweet stout that first starts out with a bold pastry shop scent of cake batter, Mexican spice and with not-so-subtle scents of chocolate, coffee and caramel. And as those caramel, toffee and chocolate flavors slather the tastebuds, a cloying sense of sweet dough, syrups and candied malt.
With the sweetness unwavering on the middle palate, the creamy sugars invite the balance of cinnamon, coffee roast and a mild mannered bitterness to take an edge off of the one-dimensional malt profile. Savory, sugary and firmly planted in the desert realm of taste, the session fades into a slow simmer of kahlua, toffee and cinnamon sugar.
Full bodied, warming and finishing malty-sweet, the one 12oz can is an easy split among a middle sized European village. Delicious for a taste but proving very difficult to palate, the beer is a showcase in flavor development and not intended for full can consumption.

Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice dark brown/black color, with some pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy/quick one-finger tan head, which also leaves some minimal sticky lacing behind. The nose is pretty nice, malty, hoppy, with a pretty nice touch of chocolate/toffee, vanilla, licorice, cinnamon, churro. The taste is pretty nice, malty, hoppy, with a pretty nice touch of chocolate/toffee, vanilla, licorice, pretty nice touch of cinnamon, churro. Medium Body, ABV is hidden very nicely, with a slight dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is pretty tasty.

Aroma is chocolate candy bar, similar to Untitled arts other pastry stouts. The flavor is similar to the aroma with a slight cinnamon/acidic/mildly sweet finish.

Pours milk chocolate brown with a moderate head and carbonation. Aroma is heavily cinnamon and chocolate, promising all sorts of sweet. Taste is similar, very cinnamon and chocolate. The brew has a medium body, on the lighter side. Carbonation is controlled, with the head disappearing quickly. The resemblance to churro is quite good. Another hit from Untitled.
