Pours pitch black with minimal head. Smells like milk chocolate, some vanilla, and caramel. Taste is similar to the nose but can be cloying as it warms. Body is on the thinner side but abv is well hidden.

Looks like all the other Untitled Art Stouts I’ve had. They are consistent there. Smells and taste of coffee and malted chocolate. Not quite as sweet as l was expecting. Goes down with a slight amounts of tartness. Overall, rack up another winner for UA.

Pours jet black, with 1/2" of fine, light chestnut head that leave an uninterrupted curtain of lace on a goblet. The head settles as a thick blanket.

The aroma is very sweet, filled with rich chocolate fudge. There is a light malt edge, to remined one of the base style.

Cloyingly sweet with a strong bitter chocolate finish. The flavor profile is dominated by chocolate fudge, with clear notes of habanero pepper. The pepper heat combines wit the alcohol heat to challenge the chocolate and sweetness of dominance as it warms.

It has a dense body, with a syrupy texture that leaves a thick coating of sugar on the limps. The carbonation is surprisingly active, producing a fair amount of fizz with each sip. As previously noted, the alcohol flexes muscle above its weight, with spice and alcohol producing some serious heat.

With a name like this one, one should expect the pastry to deliver, which it certainly does. Even for a desert beer, the sweetness is over the top, and open can only sip it slowly.

Tasted on tap at 3rd Planet Brewing in Niceville, FL.

This was a delicious pastry beer, redolent of chocolate and a bit nutty on the nose, like hazelnut. The flavors hit much less sweet than the aroma leads you to expect, with a bitter chocolate and coffee profile. Although it is a big, assertive beer, it is surprisingly drinkable for a pastry stout, and well worth trying.

12oz can. Best by date is stamped on bottom as 'BB: 04/11/25'.
Black colored body, with a very thin mahogany back lit edge. Two fingers of mocha brown head, which quickly retreats to a partial cap and ring. Very little lacing, just a couple of small isolated spots.
Aroma of caramel and chocolate (both sweet), with an overall malty smell.
Taste is sweet caramel and chocolate, but the higher ABV% does introduce some harshness to the overall experience, more in the realm of close to burnt coffee. Aftertaste remains full of sweet caramel and chocolate.
Thinner than medium mouth feel, but with a creamy texture. Slight tongue sting. Okay carbonation.
Approximates a chocolate malt but with a moderate interval of alcohol harshness.

Pours midnight black with no carbonation and only the faintest hint of white foam around the edge of the glass. Aroma is alcohol, then chocolate. Taste is unusually harsh for an Untitled Art brew; fudge chocolate is present but is so unbalanced as to be detrimental. The alcohol hits next and doesn't quiver about asking for your wallet and keys to the car. Any semblance of sweetness is overpowered by the ABV. An unusual miss for this brewer.
