A- Pours hazy orange......just like orange juice would look....there are red hues to deepen the overall coloration. Not too much of a head, but what there is, is super white, maybe one finger thick to start out, but rapidly dissipates into a small ring around the inside of my glass. The lacing is modestly sticky, leaving behind only small circular shapes that don't really slink back into the liquid. Carbonation is too hard to see to make any judgement.
S- Smells as advertised for the most part! Lots of orange, blended in with perhaps some other orchard fruits (peach, nectarine, apricot), vanilla, dairy cream. Yup, this smells quite like the frozen treat that we all (most?) love! No hop bitterness, and for that matter, nothing really else that I can detect here. Quite nice!
T- Flavors follow suit to the aforementioned aromas quite well, with less sweetness and traces of the malt recipe, which gives this an overall robustness. Definitely of cream, vanilla, lots of orange puree, and again, I think they may have used some peach or nectarine pulp to help stiffen it up in the fruit department. A true delight on the palate!
M/O- I find this to be medium-full in body....I would like to see it a little thinner truthfully, and the carbonation is plentiful, yet wee tight, which allows the full flavor profile to shine through. The low alcohol certainly helps keep the drinkability high, and on a 30 degree day, I could quite easily find myself on a patio enjoying several of these before tiring of it. Would pair well with a light meal on a hot day, and suffices well on its own as a dessert.....I even think this could be nice as a float with vanilla ice cream! Definitely recommended and if anyone comes across it, please do give it a try!
