12 oz brown bottle, pull-tab cap.

This beer poured a hazy, golden color with creamy, white foam that settled to a thin coat. The smell was a light citrus and carrot aroma, though very light. The taste was lightly tart with very mild maltiness and a touch of carrot. Overall it was very lightly sweet and tart. The mouthfeel was fairly dry overall, and it was crisp with light body and low carbonation feel. Overall it was somewhat thin. This was not an offensive beer, but it was pretty weak overall. Thanks to Naerhu for this bottle.

This beer's label is a crazy red with aurora borealis lights on the backdrop and a cold-looking eskimo character handing a beer to a cute rabbit holding a carrot. It claims to be "carrot beer" and appears to be made for a town called Rikubetsu, famous for its winter festival celebrating the "cold". I guess you can see the aurora borealis from there as well, and perhaps they have alot of carrots.

The beer is an opaque melon color and pours fizzy into the glass, like orange juice fermenting in the fridge. Carrot residue is the last thing to come out of the bottle. Only a thin band of tiny bubbles hugs the glass. It's smell made me think of V8 Tropical Splash or...just carrots. The taste is light and vegetal. The mouthfeel is fizzy, like seltzer water, which I didn't like much at all. My overall impression was carrots blended into seltzer.

This beer is cool, but I wouldn't have more than one.
