This beer doesn't shy on malt character and packs bitterness/water profile to back it up. Deep orange marmalade, black current and honey biscuit hop skip and jump out of this beer.

A thanks to the captain of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a pretty, burnt orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of malts, citrus. Taste is a solid balance of malts and oranges, mild bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

Copper hued body; one-finger thick head, dense and creamy. Mild, toasted grain aroma. Bitter hops and caramel malt flavors; piney. Heavy body; slick yet with a sharp, prickly sting on the tongue; primarily dry overall but with some sticky residual sugar presence.
It is nice to experience a hoppy yet also malt forward IPA. It's been so long since I've tasted any classic British IPAs that I can't realistically compare this beer to them, but this example appears to hit the style points. Good stuff...
