Poured from 500mL bottle into a tulip.

Appearance: hazy golden hue with a thick head of frothy ivory foam. The head has immense staying power with a thick lace left on the glass as the head falls. Really, very attractive.

Smell: slightly sweet, quite malty, and rather herbal. There's just a little hint of kveik funk here, but it's on the mild side. Still, a very nice beer.

Taste: a nice maltiness followed by a bit of farmhouse funk. The juniper comes through well here, although it's not overpowering. This is a subtle and interesting beer.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a pretty big carbonation, yielding a very satisfying creaminess. I like it a great deal.

Overall: this is a highly quaffable, crushable, houseable beer. I'm into it.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a hazy light to medium golden straw with a fine, one finger white head with great retention and thick lacing. Aroma of grainy malt, whole grain bread, mild citrus and apple. Flavor follows, with husky grain malt, rye and whole grain bread, lemon, light citrus rind, light brett. Medium bodied with light creaminess and sharp carbonation. This appears to be a Scandinavian inspired farmhouse style table ale and packs a good amount of flavor into a low ABV package. Nicely grainy, but with yeasty bread notes and some fruit. The wild yeasts are clear, but restrained. A nicely made, crisp farmhouse ale.
