16oz can served in a can-shaped glass. Don't see a date. I think I bought it last week at Full Throttle Bottles.
Pours a rich, dark, clear amber with a fairly good sized head and moderate carbonation after the pour. Smell is barley/grain tea, moderate sweetness, some earthy/grassy hops.
Taste is more on the bitter, tea-like side, missing some of the malt-forward barley syrup I was hoping for from the smell -- sweetness is there, but not super malty. Odd, maybe. Bitterness is more earthy/spicy than grassy, and has a slow entrance and a slow exit.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and maybe a bit more still than I really want. Overall, I'm no marzen expert, but this seems reasonable, not much more.
