Nearly clear golden brew with a very sparkling mouthfeel. This is quite tangy, even edging toward a robust sour. What saves it is all the apple flavor and lots of apple aroma. It was "spontaneously re-fermented" in the foudre with three apple varieties in a collaboration with Whitewood Cider Co. I would call this a Wild Ale.
Actually this tastes much like a French Normandy cider, though more tart, which would also come in a 750 ml bottle with sediment in the bottom. There may be a ghost of the original Saison base, but I don't detect any taste of it. Purchased at Garden Path at Skagit Airport.
