Taster at festival. Golden pour, skin of foamy white head. Grainy aroma, biscuity, crisp. Taste leads with the hops, citrusy, zesty, crisp and a nice bready base.

16oz can of the 2023 vintage, purchased at Community Pint, in Spokane, WA. Per the information on the rear label, this was brewed with fresh Citra hops, in addition to presumably not fresh Calista Mosaic, and Vic Secret hops. incidentally, The malt Bill consists of pilsner and rice malts. According to a tiny notation on the rear label, this was canned on September 18, 2023.

Poured into a mug, this was a chill hazed golden amber color, with a modest half inch of off-white foam as a head.

The nose is rather muted, with a soft juicy hop aroma.

Mildly citrusy hop flavor forward, taste wise. Finishes clean and slightly dry. That's about it.

Fairly light body, almost watery, with a clean mouthfeel, but not crisp.

This is not a terribly flavorful beer, even taking into account it's relative age at this point. Might be great when encountered fresh on tap of the source, but it's packaged form at this point is pretty meh, even when compared to other similarly aged fresh hop beers.

16oz can served in a footed pilsner glass. Canned 9/19/2022.

Pours clear light yellow with about a finger and a half of fizzy head, settles to a thick meniscus. Smell muted pine and resin and a little floral sweetness.

Taste is kind of watery. Not terrible, just mild and thin. A little grain, some citrus (leaning towards lemon and flowers), maybe a little honey, a little hit of resinous bitter at the end.

Mouthfeel is very light, thin, and not particularly effervescent. Overall...it's a pretty tasty beer but it's not showcasing the fresh hops that I want it to showcase...

16oz can served in a half pint shaker. Canned 9/16/2024. Perhaps less of a fan this year than before.

16oz can (dated 9/13/21) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a fairly murky dark yellow color with an inch of white head that had moderate retention and almost no lacing.

The aroma was very subdued, just hints of citrusy hops, and no grain profile.

Pretty much the same on the tongue. Muted hops and no base malt backbone.

The body was light and smooth, with a medium finish.

Drinkability was OK, but it was not an exciting quaff.

Overall, a sub-optimal take on a FH brew.

Pours a slightly hazy straw color with a soapy white head that provides ample lacing. Nose has the citrus notes that the ubiquitous Citra hops are noted for, primarily mandarin oranges and there’s a bit of grass and cracker notes as well.

The taste has the mandarin oranges, and a bit of cracker, but there’s a fairly significant rice flavor that softens the taste a bit.

The mouthfeel is indeed crispy. This is a really nice summer crusher that is a multi-pint option after mowing your grass.

Pours a yellow slightly hazy brew with plenty of foam in the snifter. Fragrant and light as a cloud on the tongue. Aroma of bread, lemon, and melon. Flavors of honeydew with a citrus peel finish, but delicate. Just slightly acidic.

The hops are Citra and grains are Pilsner malt and rice. Makes for a light and bright refreshing sudser. Mouthfeel is beyond inviting, it's salacious. From the 16 oz can purchased at Town & Country (formerly Central Market). Canned 9/13/2021.
